So you want to be a photographer, huh? Well first things first: read your user's manual! Though your camera's manual may not be the most interesting piece of literature, it will certainly pay off to read it cover to cover. Different cameras have different functions – period. In fact, reading your manual may even inform you of some cool features that you wouldn't have even thought of before buying. The better you know your camera, the faster you’ll be able to snap that perfect picture.
